The Infection Control & Quality RN will report to a tenured and experienced Nursing Director of Quality and Risk Management, and be responsible for developing and maintaining a system for identification, reporting, investigating, and controlling infections and communicable diseases of patients and personnel.
Additional responsibilities for the Infection Control and Quality RN include preparing reports and recommendations to the Medical Executive Committee, participating in the QAPI meetings and working in collaboration with the CEO to disseminate information to staff throughout the hospital setting.
This is an exciting opportunity for an RN with Infection Control and / or Quality Improvement experience to learn how these programs run on a larger scale.
The Infection Control and Quality Nurse will support the Director and work with an array of Leaders in administering the hospital's infection prevention program.
Additionally, this person will have the opportunity to take on aspects of the Hospital Quality Improvement program.
